Privacy Policy
Effective June 30, 2026
1. What we collect
Account info: name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
Content you create: habits, tasks, focus-timer sessions, journal entries (including mood), goals, vision documents, bucket-list items, and notes.
Usage data: XP, levels, and badges earned through using the Service, and basic technical data (like IP address) used only for rate-limiting and security.
2. How we use it
We use your data solely to operate the Service: storing and displaying your habits, tasks, and journal content back to you, computing your XP/level/streaks, authenticating you, and protecting the Service from abuse (e.g. login rate limiting). We don't sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Journal and personal content
Journal entries and mood data are sensitive by nature. They're only ever shown to you, stored encrypted at rest by our database provider, and never read by us except as needed to investigate a bug or abuse report you've raised.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the Service — our hosting platform, our database provider (Neon), and our transactional email provider (Resend, for password-reset emails). These providers process data on our behalf and don't use it for their own purposes. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
5. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or full account deletion at any time by emailing admin@logmylife.in. We'll act on deletion requests promptly; deleting your account permanently removes your habits, tasks, journal entries, goals, notes, and all related data.
7. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data from our production database; backups are purged on our provider's normal rolling schedule.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We'll update the effective date above when we do.
